From July 22- July 26 the Lausanne Summerschool covers a full week teaching on ‘Visions, Sounds and Memories – Popular Culture in East and South Asia.’ Together with Ian Condry, Andrea Riemenschnitter, Gopalan Balachandran and Yiu Fai Chow we will engage students of the Centre for Area and Cultural Studies of the EPFL with the latest Japanese anime, Korean TV drama, Indian cinema, Hong Kong pop and Chinese literature, among other cultural products.
