Singapore, 1-2 July. The third conference of the Leverhulme funded Chinese Cinemas in the 21st Century network, with Song Hwee Lim as the principal investigator. The first took place summer 2012 in Exeter, the second in january in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Here you can find the programme. I will present here a paper titled ‘Welcome to the Desert of the Fake: Creativity, Soft Power and Criticality in China.’
